JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — Crews are on the scene of an early morning house fire in Jamestown on Tuesday.

The fire broke out just before 4:30 a.m. on Holmestead Court.

Fire officials say it appears the house was struck by lightning during the overnight storms, but they are still investigating the official cause.

No injuries were reported.
