PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence officials are expected to provide an update Wednesday morning after three people, including an 8-year-old boy, were stabbed.
The boy was stabbed multiple times Tuesday night, while a woman in her 70s and a man in his 50s were each stabbed once at an apartment on Reynolds Avenue, according to police.

Victor Espinal, 22, was arrested and charged with three counts of felony assault and resisting arrest.
All three victims are now in stable condition.
