We do have an Air Quality Warning for Rhode Island today due to high levels of ground-level ozone. Due to the very dry air and brush in place, we have an Elevated Fire Risk again today…please no burning today.
Highs today will be in the low 80s inland and 70s at the coast — another good beach day! Make sure to apply the sunscreen because with the very dry air above, it’ll be very easy to get a sunburn.
Highs away from the south coast will be between 80 and 85.
A backdoor cold front will head southward across the area tonight, cooling us off.
