Construction is progressing at Gillette Stadium, with the completion of a $225 million renovation project scheduled for the start of the New England Patriots’ 2023 season. The upgrades include a 370 feet by 60 feet high-definition video board, the largest for an outdoor stadium in the country. Positioned on the north side of the stadium, this new video board will offer fans an improved view of the game in addition to replays, statistics, and fantasy football updates. A 75,000 square-foot enclosed space behind the video board will connect the upper concourse, which can be used for various purposes throughout the year. The 218 feet tall signature lighthouse will be elevated, and an observation platform on the top will give fans a 360-degree view of the stadium and its surroundings. The entry gates will be relocated, and better fan facilities and concessions will be introduced. In conjunction with ten big concerts this summer, including Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, and Bruce Springsteen, the annual Army-Navy game will be held at Gillette in December.
