A woman named Zaaina Asra Zakirrah Mahvish-Jammeh has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after allegedly attacking and killing Leah Rosin-Pritchard at a shelter in Brattleboro, Vermont. According to court documents, witnesses and security footage confirm the attack with an ax. Mahvish-Jammeh was found wiping blood off her hands with a paper towel when officers arrived. It was revealed that she had purchased a “Hunters Ax” at a hardware store over the weekend. Rosin-Pritchard was a shelter coordinator and her colleagues expressed their heartfelt condolences in a statement. Mahvish-Jammeh was arraigned in court and is currently being held without bail.
