
A fatal hit-and-run occurred in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts on Monday night and authorities are searching for the driver responsible. According to the Massachusetts State Police, a 2008 Scion tC switched lanes while driving northbound on Route 24 and hit a Honda Accord, forcing it into a median and concrete barrier before fleeing the scene. Shortly after, a Ford Maverick crashed into the back of the Honda, causing it to catch fire. The driver of the Honda, Erpharo Gilbert, was pronounced dead and the driver of the Ford was unharmed. Route 24 was closed for four hours but has since reopened. The identity of the Scion driver is still unknown.
