The Providence College (PC) basketball player allegedly involved in a domestic incident where he reportedly pointed a gun at his girlfriend is expected to appear in court on Monday. Alyn Breed, 21, spent the weekend in custody and is facing multiple gun charges as well as driving without the operator’s consent. The incident occurred off-campus in Providence, Rhode Island, early on Saturday morning, according to police. PC officials have suspended Breed from the team and any other athletic department-related activities. The college are cooperating with the police investigation. Last week Breed announced his intention to return to the team under new head coach Kim English. The story is developing, check back for updates.
