A Lincoln man named Jamal Lewis has been arrested for allegedly targeting young girls for sexual activities over several years, according to the R.I. State Police. The investigation began when word was received that Lewis had been targeting vulnerable juvenile females for sex and other illegal activities since 2020. Police arrested Lewis and searched his home where they discovered a loaded firearm with a high-capacity magazine and altered serial number. Lewis has been charged with several counts including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and first-degree child molestation. He was previously convicted of tampering with vehicles and drug possession. Currently, he is being held without bail as a probation violator and scheduled to return to court on April 13.
