A shooting in Woonsocket resulted in a 13-year-old boy being hit by a stray bullet on Saturday, according to police speaking to 12 News.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. close to St. Anne’s Church on Cumberland Street. Two individuals were reportedly involved in the shooting, with one suspect being hit in the leg and taken to the hospital under police custody.
The stray bullet hit the boy’s arm while he was in an unrelated car amidst the chaos. Currently, police are still searching for the second shooter.
