
A Pawtucket man, Fernando Lombardi, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police on Tuesday after more than 20 ghost guns were found in his Windmill Street apartment, resulting in 163 criminal charges against him. Detectives investigating Lombardi’s alleged involvement in narcotics discovered the ghost guns he had made, along with 30 grams of fentanyl, 12 grams of cocaine, and over $7,500 in cash. Lombardi has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, multiple counts of possession of firearms by a prohibited person and possession of firearms while committing a controlled substance violation, possession of prohibited large-capacity feeding devices and possession of ghost guns. Detectives retrieval of the illegal weapons is being celebrated as significant progress in keeping Rhode Island safe.
