A Pawtucket woman was arrested by police for possession of methamphetamine pills disguised as Adderall. The arrest was made during an investigation into narcotics distribution in Pawtucket and surrounding communities. Police seized two handguns, $69,000 cash, 2,300 counterfeit Adderall pills, two pounds of marijuana, two ounces of cocaine, and more than 2,000 methamphetamine pills. Latasha Pina, 37, who was the target of the investigation, is facing charges for maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a firearm, manufacturing controlled substances near a school, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. Both of Pina’s residences were discovered to be in proximity to several elementary schools and playgrounds. Images provided by the Pawtucket Police Department are included.
