Police in Fall River, Massachusetts, are searching for the driver who allegedly dragged a state trooper with their car after being pulled over early Tuesday morning. According to state police, the trooper had conducted a stop at Pleasant and 17th streets around 12:30 a.m. As the trooper was speaking to the female driver, she began to drive away. The trooper reached into the car in an attempt to stop her, but was reportedly dragged about 100 feet before letting go. The woman then fled the scene. The trooper was treated for minor injuries and released from St. Luke’s Hospital. The incident is currently under investigation. Images in the post have been retained.
