The Providence Community Electricity Program is set to launch in May and aims to assist residents in managing their electricity costs, increasing renewable energy use, and reducing carbon pollution. Providence Mayor Brett Smiley’s Administration is scheduled to provide more information about the program to interested residents in a virtual meeting on Monday at 6 p.m. Enrollment in the program is automatic for ratepayers unless they choose to opt out. To access the online meeting, visit the program’s website. Find full program details at the WPRI article linked on the page.
