The Boston Celtics dominated the San Antonio Spurs 137-93 on Sunday night, led by Jaylen Brown’s 41 points and 13 rebounds. Despite being without their leading scorer, Jayson Tatum, due to a hip contusion, the Celtics secured their seventh victory in nine games and moved to 1½ games behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the Eastern Conference’s best record. Malcolm Brogdon contributed 20 points and nine assists, and Derrick White had 19 points with eight rebounds for Boston. For the Spurs, Zach Collins scored 21 points with seven rebounds, while Keldon Johnson was out, having scored 30 points in Friday’s loss to the Washington Wizards. The Spurs lost all four games of their road trip.
