Good morning everyone! Today’s weather is expected to be chilly, raw, and damp. Although we could experience a bit of sunshine in the morning, clouds will quickly take over and showers are likely to start around noon and continue throughout the evening. These showers are associated with a warm front lifting towards New England, causing rain chances to increase throughout the day. The best chance for a chilly rain will be in the late afternoon and evening, with showers possibly lingering into the night. However, skies should start to clear by dawn with temperatures dropping to the upper 30s. Sunday will be much better with clearing skies and a beautiful sunrise. Although winds will pick up from the west, temperatures will jump into the upper 50s inland and mid-50s at the coast. Our 12 News team members will be participating in the Special Olympics Torch Run Plunge on Sunday at noon, with air temperature not being an issue. Meteorologist T.J. Del Santo
