
A ceremony was held in South Kingstown to recognize the community as a Medal of Honor town on National Medal of Honor Day. Governor Dan McKee and Senator Jack Reed attended the event as part of the town’s 300th anniversary celebration. The ceremony honored South Kingstown’s three Medal of Honor recipients and remembered the five missing in action service members.
