A man from North Dighton was apprehended on a number of charges after an event in Rehoboth on Tuesday evening.
As per officials, they were notified at about 9:30 p.m. about a car off the road in the region of Simmons Street and Reservoir Avenue. When they arrived, they found 42-year-old Christopher Berry standing beside his vehicle in the forest while displaying signs of impairment.
Authorities took Berry into custody for charges of operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and other motor vehicle offenses following field sobriety examinations, according to police.
Berry was freed on bail and was arranged to appear in court for arraignment on Friday.
