Good morning! Today will be warmer than usual, but expect mostly cloudy skies, breezy winds, and a few light showers throughout the day. The majority of the showers will occur in the afternoon and evening, but it won’t be a complete washout. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s. Scattered afternoon showers will take place along and ahead of a cold front, with most areas getting less than 1/4″ of rain. This afternoon and evening, southwest winds will pick up with gusts of up to 20-25mph possible. The evening will remain mild with lingering light rain showers and temperatures in the 50s. Skies will start clearing up after midnight, and lows will dip to the low 40s by dawn. In other news, dry skies will return on Friday with clouds breaking for partial afternoon sun. However, our next weather system will approach on Saturday afternoon and night, bringing chilly rain and drizzle with 1/4″ to 3/4″ of rain expected before it tapers off on Saturday night.
