Kim English has been chosen as the new men’s basketball coach for Providence College following Ed Cooley’s decision to depart for Georgetown University. English, who just wrapped up his second season as head coach at George Mason University, will be introduced to the Friars community on March 29th. The University of Missouri alum was also a second-round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft for the Detroit Pistons. English previously served under Rick Barnes at the University of Tennessee and Notre Dame Preparatory School also. The announcement was made with the suspended image of English in the article.
