Stewie Vuitton, a 4-year-old miniature horse from Andover, Massachusetts, captured the hearts of thousands despite losing to a cat in the Bunny Tryout Contest. The contest, which this year focused on rescue pets, named Stewie as runner-up out of 10 finalists. Lifting Spirits Miniature Therapy Horses rescued Stewie from an auction in Ohio more than a year ago. Even though Stewie suffers from dwarfism, he now serves as a therapy horse that visits nursing homes, children’s hospitals, schools, and assisted living facilities across the state. Founder and president of Lifting Spirits, Toni Hadad, thanked everyone for their support throughout the contest. Crash, a shelter cat from Idaho who was hit by a car and came in first place, will star in this year’s Cadbury clucking bunny commercial.
