The PVDFest is returning to Providence this year with a free outdoor arts festival. Mayor Brett Smiley announced that the event will be held on September 8-10 to close out the summer season. The festival previously took place in June, but was put on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PVDFest was first introduced in 2015 and brings together vendors, performers, and artists in downtown Providence. Mayor Smiley invites local artists to showcase their talents and encourages everyone to join in on the festivities with their family and friends. Those interested in participating can fill out the interest forms on the PVDFest website to be contacted for event planning.
