The family of Diane Drake gathered at Easton’s Beach to commemorate the anniversary of her death more than 40 years ago. Drake disappeared while walking to work and her body was later found naked and battered in the waters off of Easton’s Beach. Her brother, Bob Drake, has been fighting to keep her memory alive and is seeking justice for his sister, stating that the lack of help from detectives throughout the years only added to the pain of losing his sister. Drake’s siblings are considering starting a foundation in their sister’s name to support victims of domestic violence, as Drake was known for helping those in need.
