The announcement is intended to safeguard that eligible 4-year-olds will have a predestined shot at one of the 127 classrooms in 18 communities that Rhode Island currently has. The Pre-K program has high-quality and is offered free to families. By using the online lottery notification tool available on the RI Pre-K website, parents can submit their child’s application as soon as the lottery officially opens.
