The Providence Police Department is saddened by the passing of K-9 Kyra, who worked as an explosive detection K-9 with Officer Lincoln Sisson for seven years. Kyra provided security at many high-profile events at the Amica Mutual Pavilion and the Rhode Island Convention Center. The Amica Mutual Pavilion expressed that Kyra was a valuable employee, helping to keep their venues safe for all patrons and staff. The Providence Police Department provided images in honor of Kyra’s service.
