The New England Patriots have signed free agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, in the team’s first big acquisition of the free agency period. Smith-Schuster took to Twitter to confirm the move and expressed gratitude to his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs. The three-year deal is reportedly worth up to $33 million. Smith-Schuster will fill the void left by Jakobi Meyers, who agreed to a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders. As a Pro Bowler in 2018, Smith-Schuster will now have another chance to shine as a top receiving option for the Patriots and their quarterback, Mac Jones.
