The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled over 350,000 Bedsure electric heating blankets and pads due to a risk of fire. The blankets and pads have a malfunctioning controller which has caused 137 incidents of fire, melting, burning, and overheating, resulting in 17 thermal burn injuries. The recalled products, which were sold in various colors, sizes, and styles on and all have a white controller, have been advised to be returned to Bedsure for a full refund.
