The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is warning residents about a text messaging scam. According to the RMV, it never sends unsolicited requests for personal information via text and such messages are only a response to customer-initiated requests. Residents are advised to report and delete any unsolicited text messages claiming to be from the RMV. The original post contains an image and a Twitter widget.
