The Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, along with various organizations and community members, held a luncheon to raise funds for those affected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Attendees paid $25, and the profits went to churches in Aleppo to aid those struggling to obtain basic necessities. Although the earthquakes occurred miles away, some individuals had personal ties to affected areas, such as Galin Tashian, who has family currently residing in Syria. Even small donations can have a significant impact on those in need. To make a contribution, visit the Armenian Relief Society’s website.
