Two Newton police officers were injured while responding to a domestic violence call on Saturday night, according to Newton police. The officers were called to a scene where a domestic violence incident was taking place. During a struggle between the police and the suspect, the suspect punched both officers in the back of their heads and attempted to grab their service weapons. One of the officers was knocked unconscious during the struggle. The suspect was eventually arrested and both police officers were taken to Newton Wellesley Hospital and later released.
