
Thousands of Anji Guotai office chairs sold in HomeGoods, Homesense, Marshalls, and T.J. Maxx stores across the US are being recalled due to a fault that could cause the back of the chair to break or detach from the seat while in use, causing injuries such as contusions, strains, numbness, bruising, and one reported concussion. A total of 81,700 chairs, available in white, black, gray, floral, pink, orange, navy, light blue, brown, mint, and cream, are subject to the recall. TJX has received 12 reports of problems with the chairs, and is advising anyone who owns one to cease using it immediately and apply for a refund.
